Core Christianity: Tough Questions Answered

Why America is Not the Promised Land

host Adriel Sanchez aired November 3, 2020

Episode 567 Show Notes

From the Show

I love our new country, but we are not the New Jerusalem. We are not the new Israel. Actually, Israel in the Old Testament isn’t a type of America, it’s a type of the church. The church is God’s temple on earth today.

God has been building this temple for two thousand years and it isn’t America. It’s the church. If you have faith in Jesus Christ, then you are one of the living stones of God’s temple, his dwelling place.
