When Did God Create the Angels?
From the Show
When did God create the angels?
God created angels before he created man. They're not eternal, only God is eternal, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. But the angels were created before man. So we are told in many passages that the angels minister before God's throne, they're singing his praises, they're also sent on various missions. God posted his elite guard, the Cherubim, at the Tree of Life after Adam sinned in order to keep the couple from returning because if they took from the fruit and ate they and their posterity would be confirmed in everlasting damnation (Genesis 3:24)…Again and again throughout the Psalms especially you have "the mighty ones" or "the heavenly hosts," "the hosts of Heaven" basically engaged in worship, in singing God's praises, in glorifying him, acknowledging his majesty. — Michael Horton

I know that we are freed from the law when we come into a saving relationship by grace through faith in Christ, thank God! But suddenly, I am unable to explain exactly what law we are freed from the penalty of breaking? I understand it is the law of sin and death that all are subjected to after Adam's fall. But, are we speaking about the 10 Commandments as being the Law? Or are we speaking about the entire Pentateuch and all the 613 laws written in it that I suppose the Pharisees were attempting to keep? Can you help?
