There are some who have tried to spiritualize the message of the resurrection, but that has devastating consequences on our faith. It undermines the whole of the faith. That is what the Apostle Paul says in 1 Corinthians 15. Indeed, if the resurrection didn’t happen, that would mean our faith is empty, our preaching is in vain, we are are still dead in our sins, and everyone who has died is without hope. But Jesus has risen from the grave.
