10 Old Testament Prophecies about Jesus (& Their Fulfillment)

by Staff posted December 21, 2022

Long ago, God spoke to the prophet Isaiah saying, “I am God, and there is no other; I am God, and there is none like me, declaring the end from the beginning and from ancient times things not yet done” (Isa. 46:9– 10). The Bible’s prophetic testimony sets it apart from all other books, and by it God distinguished himself from the pagan deities worshipped by the nations. He is the one true God, and there is none like Him! Peter said, “For no prophecy was ever produced by the will of man, but men spoke from God as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit” (2 Pet. 1:21). Under the inspiration of the Spirit, the prophets were given insight into the future, and their prophecies zeroed in on one particular event that would forever change the world: the birth and ministry of Jesus Christ. Here are ten Old Testament prophecies with their New Testament fulfillments.
